Perry Mason, No Renewal after Season 2
Fans of the Perry Mason neo-noir reboot are sad about the show not getting renewed for another season. Sigh. Why can't we have nice things?! I really thought the cinematography, acting, HBO Max funding, Robert Downey Jr and wife's involvement, and gorgeous production value would surely be enough to squeeze out at least a Season 3. But no, no such luck.
So we're doing a rewatch because we just can't let it go. I was hoping for more character development, gorgeous suits and hats, vintage cars, and Matthew Rhys' on-point acting. But I'll have to make do with rewatching the first two seasons.
